Our Tohu
The tohu design represents:
- The intersecting middle curve represents the geothermal field under our whenua
- The three curved lines on either side represent the six land blocks administered by the Ngatī Rangi Ahu Whenua Trust
- The name "Waiwhariki" is the name of the whenua block where the distillery is situated.
- The two "flower like" symbols under Waiwhariki are a representation of the mānuka flower and also the symbol under the windows of the St Michael's Anglican Church
- Finally, the deep crimson colour of the tohu represents the mānuka in full bloom.
